Debbie Mello has been a member of NAWIC for more than 10 years. She has held every position on the board including two years as president. Debbie has been employed in the construction, specifically the lumber industry, for 27 years. After serving three years in the U.S. Army, Debbie worked for 13 years in a lumber mill working as a sawyer, grader, forklift driver and operating all machines in the plant. For the past 14 years, Debbie has been employed by A.C. Houston Lumber Co., a supplier of framing lumbers who also designs and manufactures trusses and wall panels. She is an inside sales manager for the lumber dept. Debbie is also on the Board of Directors for the Framing Contractors Association (FCA).
